1) Will our actions affect our client’s profile ?

Ans: A letter of indemnity will be issued to our client upon signing of the service contract.

2) Can debtors pursue a legal recourse against your recovery action undertaken by us?

Ans: We are solely responsible for any debt recovery actions expedited by us as stated in the letter of indemnity.

3) Will we conduct any illegal acts during the course of recovery?

Ans: No. All our recovery actions are carried out in accordance with the law of Singapore.

4) What sort of recovery action will be effective on my debtor?

Ans: Being veterans in the industry and with vast experience, our team will go the extra mile to listen, understand and analyse your predicament, then advise you on the most effective recovery actions.

5) Why you should engage a professional Collection Agency?

Ans: By engaging professional collecting agents, there is a high probability a debtor will be made to pay up. We have all the right expertise and techniques to get the job done for our clients. In addition, debtors will know you are serious about recovery actions and will tend to avoid bad credit ratings or legal actions against them.

6) How long will it take for your agency to recover my money?

Ans: Not all claims are collectible as some debtors may flee the country, file for bankruptcy, is already deceased or simply refuses to pay up. Also, the age of the debt plays a part in how long it could take to recover monies owed to you. If the outstanding debt has been a long time and/or the debtor requires backup paperwork, this could prolong collection.

7) What if the debtor disputes the debt or simply refuses to pay?

Ans: If the debtor disputes the debt, we will provide them with documentation proof on the validity of the debt. If the debtor insists on not paying, we will suggest legal action by obtaining a court order in the form of Writ of Seizure & Sale, Garnish of Wages, Bankruptcy charge etc.

8) How actively do you pursue bad addresses?

Ans: We will actively locate debtors for at least 6 months to a year. We also actively check on the account to see if any files have been updated, such as credit bureau files, new address, employment, thus enabling us to locate them. The account is checked weekly to ensure maximum efforts are made to locate the debtor to facilitate our recovery actions.

9) Does the age of the debt make it more difficult to collect?

Ans: Yes, the older a debt is, the harder it is to collect.

10) What information or details do I need to provide you to get started?

Ans: Your company name, address, fax, phone, and email address. You will also need to provide us the debtor’s contact information, name, address, any contact phone numbers, email etc. Total amount owed and when it was due.

11) Is there a minimum amount someone needs to owe me in order for you to expedite recovery?

Ans: No, we do not have a minimum or maximum limit on accounts placed.

12) Do you purchase the debts outright from us or do you charge a percentage of the debt collected?

Ans: Generally, we charge a percentage of the recovered debt amount. There are no charges if nothing is collected.
